Made in the USA, this traditional baking stone is made from the same kind of ceramic you'll find in the floor of many pizzeria deck ovens. Made with a special, thick ceramic "core" that helps the stone maintain its heat, this pizza stone rebounds well after cooking several pizzas. The porous ceramic allows the crust to breathe as it bakes, crisping it well. Old school and steeped in a tradition of excellent pizza making, this stone doesn't disappoint. Scrape clean once it's cooled, do not wash. Any spots that remain on the stone after baking are considered "seasoning", and a well-loved stone will simply make your home smell like a deliciously inviting pizzeria as you preheat your oven.
